At least two people were hurt Saturday when a rocket struck a wall of the heavily guarded Serena Hotel in Kabul, the Interior Ministry said.

A shopkeeper waiting outside the hotel to load his merchandise into a car said he saw at least one policeman wounded in the attack. It's not clear who the other injured person was.

The hotel itself did not appear to be damaged. It has been the target of attacks before, most recently on Oct. 28, when a rocket slammed into the hotel's garden. No one was hurt.

The most serious attack occurred in January, when militants stormed the hotel in a co-ordinated assault that killed seven people.
