A pair of YouTube videos showing a Vancouver building collapsing twice onto a city street during a demolition is raising serious questions about safety in the construction industry.
The first video shows a crane knocking a two-storey brick or concrete wall of the building over, narrowly missing at least one person and car on the 1100 block of Hornby Street.
A second video appears to show the excavator knocking a second wall into the street a short time later, taking a lamp post down with it.
